Hi Donnie, the booth conversion is minor. Tree stands and four blowers work just fine with PPG Envirobase. I use a little more heat when I spray water, 80 Degrees is perfect for drying combined with proper air movement from the blowers.

Some shops use jets like June Air or Global jets which are mounted in the booth and use four switches on the control panel. Expensive and not really nessary but a nice luxury if you can afford it.

When PPG does a conversion they supply their shops with two Iwata tree stands and four Iwata blowers and a paint gun is included in the conversion. You have a choice of either an Iwata 400 or the DiVilbis CVI to shoot water. This is part of the "Convert With Confidence" package from PPG.

Your booth conversion will be a breeze Donnie with PPG. The prep work will need to be finished a little finer and the booth needs to be kept clean at all times !!!

Thanks for the comment, look forward to seeing you again.

I am looking forward to trying the waterborne paints. I guess the only downside is the booth conversion.
